Sara Kahn, High School Principal

Sara joined New Legacy’s staff in 2020. She began her career in education in 2004 at San Diego High School. She then worked at Mira Mesa High School as a CTE teacher in business and finance, a parent academic liaison, and vice-principal. In 2013, she became principal of San Diego Metropolitan Regional Career; Technical High School, where she worked for four years before moving to Colorado. In Erie, Colorado, Sara developed internship opportunities and expanded mentoring experiences for students, and served as assistant principal at Warren Tech from 2018 to 2020. Sara has been the keynote speaker at several conferences and was the educational keynote for TEDx San Diego in 2017.
