Get Involved
We need educators, volunteers, and donors to help us make our vision come to life. See below for ways to be involved. If you need more information, contact us.
Donate
We are supported by people like YOU
Your donation will help New Legacy support two generations of learners at a time. With your contribution, we can continue providing a rigorous, relevant, and engaging education to young parents and their children. Together, we will empower teen parents with the skills needed to raise healthy children and graduate prepared for success in college and careers.
New Legacy Charter School is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible. Donations designated for the ELC are eligible for a Colorado tax credit of up to 50% of the total donation amount through the Childcare Contribution Tax Credit (CCTC).
Volunteer
We need you
There is no formal commitment required to volunteer with New Legacy. You can volunteer on a weekly basis, or occasionally as your schedule allows. You can volunteer in the same role each time, or you can choose different roles as space allows.
Volunteer opportunities:
- High school tutors, interpreters, college advisors, lactation support specialists, field trip chaperones, and many other positions
- Early Learning Center infant and toddler room assistants, reading buddies, drama or music class teachers, and many other positions
- Committee members for one of New Legacy’s active committees (Early Childhood Education, Academic Excellence, Finance, and Development).
To get started volunteering, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Liza Coughlin, at liza.coughlin@newlegacycharter.net.
